How VIP Travel & Tourism Limited collects, uses, and safeguards the personal information you share with us.
We collect enquiry contact details (name, email, phone number) and travel preferences (destinations, dates, cabin class) submitted through our planning and consultation forms.
In accordance with our strict data protection protocols, passport numbers and raw credit card details are never requested or stored through standard website enquiry forms.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare itineraries and quotes, coordinate requested travel services, maintain our customer relationship records, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Authorised VIP Travel staff and contracted technology providers may process information where necessary to operate this website and respond to your request. If you proceed with a booking, relevant details may also be shared with selected airlines, accommodation providers, transfer operators, and other travel suppliers. Supplier-specific disclosures will be explained during booking.
Travel preferences entered into the Digital Concierge may be processed by an approved AI service to help draft suggestions. Do not enter passport details, payment-card information, health information, or other sensitive personal information into the Concierge. AI suggestions are indicative and reviewed before a booking is confirmed.
Website enquiry records are intended to be stored in access-controlled, encrypted systems hosted in Australia. Some technology or travel suppliers may process information outside New Zealand. We assess appropriate safeguards before enabling production providers and restrict staff access according to role.
We retain enquiry and itinerary information only for as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. A formal retention schedule will be approved before public launch, after which records will be deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
Providing contact information is optional, but without a working reply method and the travel details needed for your request we may be unable to respond or prepare a quote. You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask a privacy question, by contacting us below.
